History

Dekmantel Selectors is the Croatian summer offshoot of the Amsterdam collective behind Dekmantel Festival. Dekmantel's own editorial describes Tisno locals who have attended "since the first Selectors in 2016", and Resident Advisor and Mixmag both reported the 2026 edition as the festival's tenth anniversary. Dekmantel's 2024 review calls it a festival about its musical choices first and foremost, from the tracks played to the people playing them, and quotes Croatian DJs who say the early editions were looser, with the Beach Bar sometimes hitting peak time at midday and the late-night Voodoo stage swerving towards disco.

Dekmantel's recaps place the festival in Tisno in 2019 and at The Garden Resort on Croatia's Dalmatian coast from the 2020 announcement onward. The 2020 line-up announcement, which named Motor City Drum Ensemble among others, was overtaken by the pandemic: after The Garden announced that its summer events would be postponed, Dekmantel moved Selectors 2020 to 26 to 30 August 2021, and the team's own recap confirms that the 2021 edition went ahead. Pre-registration for 2022 opened straight afterwards, and the 2022 programmers, Boye 't Lam and Lisa Molle, described the newly added Magnolia stage as a place centred on music for listening. By 2025 Dekmantel reported 22 boat parties hosted by labels, clubs, radio stations and parties, and said the 21 to 25 August 2025 edition had sold out.

The format has stayed deliberately small. The official site describes a limited-capacity, five-day festival with a small number of stages, where the day program sits by the sea at the Beach Bar and the Magnolia, the evenings move to Voodoo, The Nest and the Beach Main, and the night program runs at Barbarella's. Boat parties are hosted by outside labels, radio stations and collectives, and an island party takes some of the line-up's biggest names to a remote spot. Dekmantel's 2022 programmers also stressed that the festival is built around DJs rather than live sets.

Getting there and practical info

The address for The Garden Resort, Petrića Glava 34, 22240 Tisno, is the one given on the FAQ page of Love International, another festival held on the same site. Dekmantel's own pages for Selectors name only "The Garden, Tisno, Croatia" and publish no street address or travel directions, and its Selectors FAQ page is marked as still being written

• Airports and distances: Love International's FAQ gives Zadar Airport as the nearest, about 40 minutes by car, with Split about 60 minutes and Zagreb about three hours. Those are Love International's figures for its own event; Dekmantel has not published Selectors transfer details for 2027.
• Tisno and Barbarella's: the same FAQ puts the town of Tisno a 20 to 25 minute walk from the resort and describes Barbarella's as an open-air nightclub in Pirovac, a short drive away.
• Tickets: the official site says tickets are on sale now and links to its ticket page. The festival's event page lists an Entrance Ticket, a Day and Night Program ticket and optional CO2 compensation add-ons for travel from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Paris and London to Split. No prices appear on the official pages, so none are listed here.
• Line-up: not announced. The official site says it will follow later.
• Not yet published: prices, age policy, accommodation and camping details, transfers and the boat party program.

Dates carry a small conflict among third parties. The official site gives 19 to 23 August 2027, and Techno Airlines' details box repeats that, but the same page's text says 20 to 24 August. Resident Advisor and Mixmag gave 20 to 24 August for the 2026 edition. This page follows the official site.
